The Texas Volleyball Camp now offers coaches an inside look into the philosophies, strategies, and experience of The University of Texas Volleyball coaching staff. Join Head Coach Jerritt Elliott and his staff as they share their thoughts on a variety of volleyball topics. This clinic is designed to look at all facets of the game. In addition to on court instruction, strength and conditioning and athletic training will be discussed. Coach Elliott and staff will be on hand throughout the clinic to answer questions.
The 2016 Texas Volleyball Coaches Clinic was a great clinic that exposed coaches to a variety of topics, including a discussion on what correlates to winning, passing fundamentals and concepts, out-of-system transition offense, dig progression and increasing defensive range, 6 vs. 6 team drills, preventative measures to decrease injury with warm-up, and weight training with minimal or no equipment. Coaches were able to also have a Q & A with the coaching staff.
This is just the beginning of the information we want to cover. We are looking forward to the 2017 Texas Volleyball Coaches Clinic.
New to the clinic this year, we will have a coaches’ social the evening of Friday, March 24th. This will be a great opportunity to mingle with the Texas Volleyball staff and your fellow coaches.
“The Texas Volleyball Coaches Clinic an opportunity for coaches of all levels to come to The University of Texas and learn from our staff. I think this clinic will be a great way for coaches to not only learn from our staff, but to learn from each other. This is a great way to share ideas and prepare yourself for summer training and the upcoming season”
